Missoula County

How county government works.

Missoula County covers the city and surrounding communities from Lolo and Frenchtown to Seeley Lake. County government runs elections, roads, public health, land use outside city limits, and the courthouse.

Board of County Commissioners

Three commissioners govern the county. They are elected at large, but each must live in a different commissioner district. Most items need two of three votes to pass.

Find your district

Commissioners live in numbered districts. The county publishes a district map so you can see which seat covers your area.
