Missoula County Precinct Captains Speak out Against GOP Senate Betrayal

Brad Tschida, current Missoula County Precinct Captain and former House member said this:

Once again, the citizens of Sanders, Mineral and Missoula Counties, and the entire state of Montana, have been betrayed by 9 Senate “republicans”, Denley Loge among them. After first voting with Democrats to betray Montana voters and give senate committee appointments to the Democrats, Loge has now also voted with Democrats in the Senate to shut down the Senate Ethics committee in their pursuit of finding facts surrounding the malfeasance of Jason Ellsworth, corroborated by the Legislative Audit Committee.

Shockingly, Pat Flowers, a Democrat from Bozeman and close friend of Loge, made a motion to disband the Senate Ethics Committee. All nine Republicans, including Loge, voted in favor and the motion passed, 27-22.

Republican voters, in the 3 counties mentioned at the top, voted to have Loge represent us – and he has once again miserably failed to do so. What are we to think? We can only surmise that Mr. Loge looks with disdain at the enumerated positions outlined in the MT GOP Platform. Therefore, Loge must be brought to account for his deception and what can only be interpreted as outright lies to his constituents. As a precinct captain in Missoula County, I will be calling upon the MCRCC to censure Loge at our February 25, 2025 Missoula meeting and will be asking Loge to present himself to attempt to explain his deceptive actions to the citizens of Missoula County. Hopefully, he has sufficient courage to attend.

Another Precinct Captain, Clancy Kenck, had this to say:

Those nine senators thought only of the power they would personally gain. How smart they must feel to have deceived their neighbors. I respect the Democrat’s opinion that big government can better decide what is best for them rather than accepting the responsibility for making their own choices. But Republicans and Independents state and nationwide clearly stated they want less government and wars, better justice, lower taxes, cheaper gas, and lower inflation. That is what the people voted for on November 5. The deceitful 9 are not honorable people. They should resign from office and publicly apologize to the constituents in their districts for the lack of integrity.
