It's Who We Are
THE MISSOULA COUNTY GOP
Political parties exist to offer choices to voters.
Republicans generally see government as the problem, while Democrats generally see government as the solution. Throughout the history of our Republic, we have grappled with which functions should be socialized (controlled by government) and which should remain as inalienable rights of each individual as they experience “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
Montana law provides for political parties to organize themselves at the state and local level. Following the 2020 census, Missoula County was divided into 62 voting precincts of about 2,000 voters each. Montana law allows for the election, every two years, of two voting precinct representatives (one man and one woman) from each precinct. These precinct representatives make up the Missoula County Republican Central Committee. Therefore, we are an elected body authorized under the Laws of the State of Montana.
Please feel free to contact your Republican Voting Precinct Representative listed below. Each one has volunteered to be of service to voters.
