Rehberg Makes Case to President Obama for Domestic Energy Production
Montana’s Congressman, Denny Rehberg, is urging President Obama to expedite offshore energy permitting. As gas and energy prices skyrocket as a result of unrest in the Middle East, Rehberg points out in a letter to the President that the Gulf of Mexico produces nearly one-third of our domestically produced oil, and offshore natural gas production in the Gulf accounts for 13% of total U.S. production.

Montana’s Congressman, Denny Rehberg, today announced the introduction of H.R. 909, “A Roadmap for America’s Energy Future”. As energy prices spiral out of control, the average price of a gallon of gas in Montana is more than three dollars.
