What an incredible Republican primary!
We’ve got great nominees for Legislature, Denny Rehberg emerged from the primary with overwhelming support, and the convention is next week!
Rehberg Wins!
Denny Rehberg won the Republican primary on Tuesday night with more than 96,000 votes in unofficial totals. Meanwhile the Democrat challenger, mob lawyer Dennis McDonald, couldn’t even get 25,000 votes. In fact, in his contested primary, Denny won more votes than every single Democrat candidate combined.
Of Rehberg’s victory, Republican party chairman Will Deschamps said, ““Folks are tired of the Democratic Party philosophy of bigger government and higher taxes. The Democrats have a lot to worry about this year, with historic high turnout in the Republican primaries and record low turnout in the Democrat primaries.”
Convention registration is about to get more expensive!
After June 10, convention registration goes up to $275. That makes today and tomorrow your last days to register at the $175 rate. We will honor the $175 rate for mailed in registrations that are postmarked June 9 or before. You can register online at http://mtgop.org/convention.aspx.
